Cathy Jaubert

Cathy Jaubert recognized the need for a comprehensive, local network of birth-related information, resources and support as well as a common ground for working together to improve and expand local birth options. Northshore Birth Options was born out of a desire to fill that need. 

Cathy makes her home in Mandeville with husband Marc and four children. Margaret was born via cesarean in 2012. Twins Catherine and Elaine were born via VBAC in 2015. Marc, Jr. was born via VBAC water birth in 2017. Cathy is especially passionate about expanding access and support for vaginal birth after cesarean.

Amanda Pohlmann

Board Member

As a wife and mom of three girls, Amanda found NBO and immediately saw the value of education and community that this unique group offers to its members. Like most moms, she dreamed of what kind of birth she would have, but didn’t know how to make a plan or where to go for resources. Serving on the NBO board has allowed her to help bring these resources to moms and families. She also has a heart for adoption and fostering and her family recently added their third child through adoption. She loves being active in her church and serving in the community.

A wife and mother of three, Emily's  passion for mothers and their families to have access to information & choice in their birthing experience is what drives her to be a part of our Northshore Birth Options community & purpose.
